Prehnite, yellow
Origin: Australia
About Prehnite
Yellow Prehnite is a calcium-aluminum silicate that forms in cavities in basalt, a rock made of solidified lava. Groundwater containing dissolved minerals slowly deposits crystals there, which together form rounded nodules. Prehnite gets its colour from small amounts of iron. The amount of iron it contains and the form it takes determine whether it becomes green or yellow. Most prehnite is light green, while the yellow variety is rarer. In Australia, it is found mainly around Wave Hill in the Northern Territory, where the nodules weather out of the basalt and lie loose on the ground.
Meaning of Yellow Prehnite
Confidence, Joy of Life & Calm Strength
Yellow prehnite has a warm, sunny energy. It brings joy of life and optimism, lifts your mood and encourages you to work actively and confidently towards your goals. It also represents abundance and the manifestation of your desires.
The confidence this stone gives is a quiet kind of confidence, rooted in self-awareness and inner trust. It helps you think clearly and make decisions, especially when you feel stuck or overwhelmed. This allows you to use your strength out of love, for the good of everyone.
Prehnite is also known as the stone of preparation. It helps you prepare for what is to come, let go of limiting beliefs and face new challenges with determination. The yellow variety is also considered a symbol of youthfulness and stimulates your creativity. And for those who take care of many others, it serves as a reminder to also take time for yourself.
Like all prehnite, it connects your heart with your will. While green prehnite primarily affects the heart chakra, the yellow variety focuses on the solar plexus chakra, and therefore on your confidence and personal power.

How does it work?
Some gemstones are so special that we only have one (or very few) of them. Especially with these unique pieces, we leave the eyelet off for now.
The stone has already been drilled, but you choose whether you want a silver or gold finish.
After your order, we will make the pendant especially for you. Please allow for a processing time of approximately 5 business days.
Finishing options
You can choose from the following finishes:
-
Gold filled 14kt
This material consists of 5% genuine 14-karat gold. The gold layer is much thicker than with gold plating and, with proper care, retains its beautiful gold color for years. -
925 Sterling silver
Real silver is also an option, of course! The eyelet can become a bit dull over time, but with a silver polishing cloth, you can easily make it shine again. -
14 carat gold
This precious metal remains beautiful for a lifetime. For a 14-karat gold eyelet, we charge an additional €25.
