Over Herkimer diamond
Herkimer diamond, from New York, is not really a diamond but a special type of double-ended quartz. These clear crystals are named after New York's Herkimer County, where they were first discovered. They are distinguished by their natural faceting and their sparkling clarity. Although they may have the same clarity as diamonds, they are much softer on the Mohs scale. The unique thing about Herkimer diamonds is their shape: they often have 18 naturally occurring facets and two points. They may also contain inclusions, such as small air bubbles or bits of carbon.

- De Ontdekkingstocht: We struinen beurzen en groothandels af om de mooiste edelstenen, één voor één, te selecteren op kwaliteit en vorm.
- Creatie: Vervolgens boren we met een diamantboor nauwkeurig een gaatje in elke steen, waarna we er een oogje aan vastmaken. Dit maakt het mogelijk om jouw sieraad te dragen zoals jij dat wilt - aan een ketting of als oorring.
- Fotografie: En het mooiste? Elk sieraad is uniek! We plaatsen van elk sieraad een individuele foto op onze website, zodat jij zelf jouw perfecte vorm kunt uitkiezen. Er is van elke steen maar één exemplaar, dus je hebt gegarandeerd iets unieks in handen ❤️
