Tanzanite with diopside
Origin: Mererani, Tanzania
About Tanzanite
This combination stone consists of tanzanite and green diopside, two minerals that grew together in the earth. Tanzanite is the blue-violet variety of the mineral zoisite and is found in only one place in the world: the Merelani Hills at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. The stone was discovered in 1967 and named after its homeland by jeweler Tiffany & Co. Tanzanite is trichroic: depending on the angle from which you view it, you see more blue or more violet. Green diopside is a calcium-magnesium silicate from the pyroxene group. Its name comes from the Greek word for "double vision." Together, they form a special combination of deep blue-violet and fresh green, straight from Tanzania.
Meaning of Tanzanite with Green Diopside
Intuition, Heart Connection & Balance
Tanzanite with green diopside is a stone of connecting, harmonious energy. In this combination, two forces come together: the blue-violet of tanzanite represents intuition and inner wisdom, and the green of diopside represents the heart and the earth. A stone that helps you balance your head, heart, and feelings.
Tanzanite supports you in listening to your inner voice. It brings peace to your mind, helps you trust your intuition, and makes it easier to find the right words for what you feel. A good stone during periods of change, when you are entering a new phase in your life.
Green diopside adds softness and grounding. Due to its green color, it is connected to the heart and helps you look at yourself and others with compassion. Its name, "double vision," fits perfectly: diopside helps you see things from multiple perspectives and live with more understanding.
Thus, tanzanite with green diopside combines intuition with heart connection. A stone for those who want to trust their inner wisdom, remain firmly grounded, and go their own way with an open heart and clear feelings.
How does it work?
Some gemstones are so special that we only have one (or very few) of them. Especially with these unique pieces, we leave the eyelet off for now.
The stone has already been drilled, but you choose whether you want a silver or gold finish.
After your order, we will make the pendant especially for you. Please allow for a processing time of approximately 5 business days.
Finishing options
You can choose from the following finishes:
-
Gold filled 14kt
This material consists of 5% genuine 14-karat gold. The gold layer is much thicker than with gold-plated plating and, with proper care, retains its beautiful gold color for years. -
925 Sterling silver
Real silver is also an option, of course! The eyelet can become a bit dull over time, but with a silver polishing cloth, you can easily make it shine again. -
14 carat gold
This precious metal remains beautiful for a lifetime. For a 14-karat gold eyelet, we charge an additional €25.
