Moonstone

Moonstone is a variety of feldspar known for its enchanting glow, often described as adularescence, reminiscent of the soft glow of moonlight. This stone occurs in shades ranging from colorless to white, with sometimes a hint of grayish color. The unique optical effects are caused by the internal play of light between the thin, alternating layers of orthoclase and albite within the stone.
